Using Bubbles for Wind Speed and Direction

On Tuesday, room 109 blew bubbles on the blacktop to help us determine wind speed and wind direction. We discovered there was a light breeze that morning and it seemed to be blowing to the north. We then observed the school flag to see how quickly it was moving in the breeze.
